The Whitechapel Gallery presents the largest single, historical presentation of Arab art in the UK this autumn.
Continuing the Whitechapel Gallery's programme opening up rarely seen art collections for everyone, a series of four chronological displays launching this September highlights works from the Barjeel Art Foundation’s rich collection. Artists from Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine and elsewhere in the region tell the story of Arab art from the modern to the contemporary period.

The Whitechapel Gallery presents four new works for Artists’ Film International, a seasonal programme of film, video and animation chosen by partner cultural organisations from around the world.

Bringing together almost two decades of sculpture, film, drawings, large-scale installations and photography, Emily Jacir: Europa focuses on Jacir’s multifaceted relationship to Europe, Italy and the Mediterranean in particular.
