A season of experimental film and performance running 17 September 2015 – 29 November 2015 at the Whitechapel Gallery. Live music performances, on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons, feature works by ground-breaking avant-garde composers and artists from the Fluxus and Minimalist generation to contemporary compositions and improvisations by electronic and experimental artists and musicians.
Allied Editions, a unique artist’s editions collective featuring Camden Arts Centre, Chisenhale Gallery, Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), South London Gallery, Studio Voltaire, Serpentine Galleries and Whitechapel Gallery, returns to Frieze London from 14-17 October 2015
The Whitechapel Gallery, Collezione Maramotti and Max Mara revealed the names of the five artists shortlisted for the sixth Max Mara Art Prize for Women at a special event at the historical headquarters of Max Mara in Reggio Emilia, Italy on 4 October 2015. The shortlisted artists are Ruth Ewan, Ana Genovés, Emma Hart, Tania Kovats and Phoebe Unwin.
