Family Day: The Factory of Confessions
Saturday 12 May, 12–4pm
Galleries and Education Spaces
(Free. Booking recommended)

Inspired by Gillian Wearing, artists Rebecca Davies & Eva Sajovic present ‘The Factory of Confessions’, turning the Creative Studio into an exciting hive of activity for families to deliver their confessions together in different ways. Using typed, spoken, edible and mapped formats, the highlight of the factory is the photo booth where families are invited to dress up in disguise and get a polaroid taken.

Rebecca Davies & Eva Sajovic have also put together a family trail of the Gillian Wearing exhibition, inviting children to respond to specific works through mask-making, sign-making and role play.

Free. Book online or turn up on the day.

A similar event will be held by Toynbee Hall on the same day. Toynbee Hall’s Community Day runs from 11-4 and more information can be found at the following link: http://www.toynbeehall.org.uk/news_item.asp?itemid=2019&itemTitle=Toynbee+Hall+Spring+Community+Day+May+12th&section=29&sectionTitle=New
