Tower Hamlets Visual Arts Consortium
This year Whitechapel Gallery has been working in collaboration with Bow Arts Trust and Chisenhale Gallery as Tower Hamlets Visual Arts Cluster to provide CPD for teachers, a summer project for young people and an out-of-hours programme for parents and teaching support staff. All these projects were free and available to schools and teachers in Tower Hamlets.

ARTISTS + SCHOOLS + GALLERIES = WHAT NEXT?
What does the future hold for partnerships between artists, schools and galleries? Join us to debate and interrogate the ways in which collaborative practices can continue in the current climate.
Artists, curators and participants present their work and experiences of the year-long collaboration between Bow Arts Trust, Chisenhale Gallery and Whitechapel Gallery. This has involved projects working with young people, parents, artists, teachers and teaching assistants in east London.
Through a lively programme of presentations, discussions and practical breakout sessions, the symposium will highlight innovative projects by other practitioners in the Borough. Come to be inspired and have your say about the future of art education.
The Visual Arts Consortium in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets is led by Bow Arts Trust, Chisenhale Gallery and Whitechapel Gallery, and funded by Find Your Talent.
