Explore this unique snapshot of contemporary art in London with a tour led by Assistant Curator, Cameron Foote. The London Open 2018 , Whitechapel Galley’s triennial open submission exhibition brings together critical and dynamic art, which reflects the experience of living in a global city.
Also, hear from Swarovski Foundation Curator: Youth Programmes, Renee Odjidja, to discover what happens when a group of young people create an open call for an artist residency. Current exhibition Alone Together: Youth Forum with Seth Pimlott showcases two experimental films created with the Gallery’s youth forum, Duchamp & Sons. Through yoga sessions, performances and workshops on memory and sensation the group considered the strange allegiance between mind and body.
