More in Walking Tour: June 2017

Every month, the Whitechapel Gallery maps out a Walking Tour with a selection of the latest First Thursdays exhibitions in east London. The accompanying map is available for free at the Whitechapel Gallery or available to download below.

June’s Walking Tour begins at the Whitechapel Gallery. Start your journey by checking out our new displays: ISelf Collection: Self-Portrait as the Billy Goat and the new commission Emanuel Almborg: Learning Matter. For your first stop, walk to Stolenspace Gallery for an exciting solo exhibition of Australian artist Jen Frost. The next stop is Brady Arts Centre to see how artist Christopher Lane explores the narrative potential of oil paint. Finally, head to 5th Base Gallery, where a collection of paintings by artist Diana Krilova will surprise you with their unexpected scenery and ironic twist.
