More in Walking Tour: August 2017

Every month, the Whitechapel Gallery maps out a Walking Tour with a selection of the latest First Thursdays exhibitions in east London. The accompanying map is available for free at the Whitechapel Gallery or available to download below.

August’s Walking Tour begins at the Whitechapel Gallery. Start your journey by checking out our new displays: Emma Hart: Mamma Mia! and Benedict Drew: The Trickle-Down Syndrome. For your first stop, head 1 minute North to Stolen Space Gallery for the opening of Something Melty This Way Comes by Buff Monster. Next stop is a 5 minute walk to  5th Base Gallery to see artist  Alicia France’s nude portraits in her first solo exhibition. Finally, head on a [slightly lengthier] stroll to People See Nothing by Milk  at Division of Labour. Milk are an artist-led collective based in Newcastle.
