For January’s Walking Tour, head to Oxford House (20 min) for Stephen Bell and Jon Chater series of portraits. Next stop is SCAN- Spanish Contemporary Art Network (8 min). SCAN presents works by Pablo Capitán del Río and Eduardo Hurtado, addressing issues of animality, from ethology and metaphor, symbol and writing. Remaining on Herald Street, visit Maureen Paley. Maureen Paley presents Andrew Grassie‘s paintings, which recreate in precise detail photographs that he has taken himself, found on the Internet or sourced from archives.
