November’s Walking Tour begins at Whitechapel Gallery. Enter the immersive exhibition, Elmgreen & Dragset: This Is How We Bite Our Tongue (book now).
Free entry to all other displays including Ulla von Brandenburg: Sweet Feast, Surreal Science: Loudon Collection with Salvatore Arancio, Staging Jackson Pollock and Mikhail Karikis: No Ordinary Protest.
Next stop is a short walk to Brady Arts Centre (9 min) to see Movement in De Stijl, a photographic exhibition that explores the abstract harmony of the De Stijl movement. Second stop is Caravansérail (11 min) for THESE IS LOVE SCENES, an anthology of works by Kay Gasei that revolve around the perils of some form of Love. Finally, head to St John on Bethnal Green (17 min) for the group exhibition GENESIS LIGHT MAGIC, which showcases new works inspired by the historic Church. Also on display in the crypt gallery is The Shape of Light, featuring an immersive installation by artists Zanny Mellor and Jessica Rayner.
