Education, Schools and teachers, Artist led workshops

Book a free hands-on workshop for primary school groups, learn about exhibitions through practical activity, art making and discussion led by creative practitioners.

A series of two-hour workshops are programmed to coincide with each major exhibition. These lively workshops are adaptable for all ages Early Years – Year 6.

Summer season workshops available to book now:
Wednesday 14 June and Tuesday 27 June
10am – 12noon or 12.30pm – 2.30pm each day

This term we are working with Teacher and Philosophy for Children practitioner and trainer Rebecca Blackwood. The workshops will use the summer exhibitions, A Handful of Dust and Benedict Drew, as a stimulus for philosophical enquiry, inspiring creative thinking, promoting communication and language skills and encouraging pupils’ own artistic responses to the exhibitions.
