Rodney Graham, Weathervane, 2009

Early plans for the Whitechapel Library included a provision for an unrealised weathervane. This original intention has been achieved through Rodney Graham's Erasmus Weathervane - a glittering addition to the east London skyline.

The copper and steel of Graham's design is reproduced at a 1:20 ratio for this limited edition snow globe made from resin, plastic and the necessary snow flakes.

Glass, wood, plastic, mixed media. Sphere: 100mm, base: 30x80mm. Inaugural edition, spring 2009.
