Internationally acclaimed for such publications as The Emancipated Spectator (2010) The Future of the Image, (2003; trans. 2007) and The Politics of Aesthetics (2000; trans. 2004), Jacques Rancière, Emeritus Professor of Philosophy, University of Paris-VIII, presents Big Ideas, a seasonal event featuring eminent scholars in the fields of art theory and philosophy. 

Rancière will be joined in conversation with Adrian Rifkin, Professor in Art Writing and Andrea Phillips, Reader in Fine Art Practice & Deputy Senior Tutor, Goldmsiths, University of London.
