No booking required. Pakistan born Sascha Aurora Akhtar was recently listed as one of the top twelve poets to read by The Guardian. She is Co-Producer of the successful La Langoustine Est Morte series held at the Poetry Café and is published in SKALD, Trespass, The London Magazine, and by Salt and has been included in a Shearsman anthology of UK women’s avant garde poetries coming out in 2009.. Her debut poetry collection The Grimoire of Grimalkin, (Salt, 2007) has been called” a contemporary masterpiece”.
Siddhartha Bose is a writer, performer, and academic based in London. He grew up in Mumbai and Kolkata as well as the USA. His work has appeared and is forthcoming internationally in various literary journals including The Wolf, Fulcrum, Tears in the Fence, Eclectica, Alhamra Literary Review, Soundings, and Litro. Siddhartha’s poetry has been selected for major anthologies, City State: New London Poetry (Penned in the Margins, UK, 2009) and Voice Recognition: 21 Poets for the 21st Century (Bloodaxe, UK, 2009) and a selection of his work has also appeared in a special issue of The Literary Review (USA), edited by Sudeep Sen, which focuses on contemporary Indian poets from around the world.
