A playful and participatory event exploring language and its parameters. Writers collaborate with artists to produce a series of games and scenarios that challenge our relationship to language.

TRANSLATION AND VERBAL MUTATION

A running text on translation read by actors and audience is punctuated with performance, sound and film by artists and writers experimenting with language and translation. Performers include Phil Baber, Eleanor Vonne Brown, Michael Harding, Rory Macbeth, Laure Prouvost; Louise Stern, Emily Wardill, Lucy Woodhouse & others.

This image of a pixelated explosion is the result of a telepathy experiment conducted between Loolie Habgood and Eleanor Brown. The message sent was of a sea horse bobbing in the ocean, the message received was of an exploding pixel.
