Café/Bar
To re-launch the late night music events in the Café/Bar, Rod Melvin and special guests perform a retrospective of Rod’s talented, eclectic and longstanding career in music. As the resident pianist at Soho’s Groucho Club and collaborator of Brian Eno and Ian Dury, his style has been likened to that of Randy Newman and Nick Cave.
Support band Oldwick push boundaires with their post-folk sound, cleverly implemented instrumentals and dulcet vocals, along with Hermine Demoriane, one of the new wave divas. During her musical career, Hermine was employed as a tightrope walker by The Moodies and with Moodier, the successor group of The Moodies, she performed a version of Roy Orbinson's Blue Angel in the style of Marlene Dietrich. Also expect several surprise guests.
