Whitechapel Gallery’s young persons group Duchamp and Sons have created films in dialogue with the Josiah McElheny exhibition The Past Was A Mirage I Had Left Far Behind. The group have been experimenting with the concept of abstraction as a way of responding to the sights and sounds of the local area. Come and see their films screened for the first time - flipped, reversed, doubled and quadrupled in a kaleidoscopic hall of mirrors.
