Robert Holyhead's contemplative paintings consider the space between resolution and the unresolved. This series of 15 hand-painted works on paper has created exclusively for the Whitechapel Gallery on the opening of the East End Academy Exhibition, 2009.

Artist Information
Born in England, Robert graduated from the MA Painting course at Chelsea College of Art in 1997. He has since exhibited widely in both the USA and Europe and recently received a solo show at Karsten Schubert, London.
