14 Hour presents a diverse selection of young poets from the eagerly anticipated Bloodaxe anthology Voice Recognition: 21 poets for the 21st century, available in September.

Voice Recognition showcases the work of a talented new wave of poets from Britain and Ireland who are not afraid to take risks and are committed to extending and remaking the traditions of poetry in a fast-changing new millennium.  The future of poetry begins here!

Featured readers include:

Adam O'Riordan read English at Oxford University and studied poetry under Michael Donaghy. O’Riordan has won a scholarship to study under Andrew Motion at the University of London where he was awarded the inaugural Peters Fraser and Dunlop poetry prize. In 2006 he received an Arts Council England writer's award and is currently writer in residence at The Wordsworth Trust.

Ahren Warner was born in 1986. His poems and the occasional review have appeared in Poetry Review, Magma, The Wolf and others. Ahren recently received an Arts Council England Award and is working towards his first collection. He is currently studying for an MA in Critical Methodologies.

Amy Blakemore is from Southeast London and was Foyle Young Poet of the year in 2007. She has been published in Iota, Rising and Pomegranate.
