Friday 12 February, 8pm

Japanese Londoners Bo Ningen are described as East Electric Psychedelic and the consummate psyche band. Fusing elements of kraut rock, metal, hardcore and funk, their live disorder is wrought into tight riffs and a-tonal noise. Their music fluctuates between angular and melodic post-hardcore/hardcore to down-the-line metal riffs then into scuzzy, feedback-ridden noise, the result is better observed live.

‘a sound that one minute sounds like Faust and the next a fusion of Fugazi and Refused.’ - Matthew Hamblin, Dummy Mag

Support by Gum Takes Tooth, a thunderous rampage of noise tempered with an aptitude for precise rhythms and splintered melody. The duo combines live trap drums, physically wired into home grown electronic instruments, bare circuit boards, which is tweaked, moulded and mangled in real-time. Decisively bring together their influences of noise, grunge rock and acid house on their imminent release on ADAADAT Records and debut release on Tiger Trap Records, released in January 2010.
