This edition originates from the work Berlin Files, a non-linear film composed of unresolved scenes that draw on the narrative conventions of detective novels and thrillers and accompanied by an expectant, tense soundtrack.

Artist Information
Both born in Canada, Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller live and work in Berlin and Grindrod, British Colombia.  Their multi-media work has redefined film and video art, combining the audio and the visual and blurring the boundary between film and theatre. 

Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller exhibit internationally and their work is included in the collections of the Tate, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, National Gallery of Canada and Dallas Museum of Art.
