Poet and stand-up comedian Tim Clare addresses ‘slam poetry’, and academic David Barnes dissects the hip-hop lyricism of Roots Manuva. In association with Penned in the Margins’ Performance Lecture Series Stress Fractures.

Following the talks, join poet-magician Nathan Penlington, poet-educator & tech-head Jacob Sam-La Rose and live lit producer Sarah Ellis (Apples & Snakes) to debate the future of performance poetry and spoken word.

Advance bookings for this event have closed. Tickets are still available and can be purchased on the dorrs from 7pm on the night.
