The evening was kicked off by a welcome from AIA UK Chapter President Richard Spencer to the assembled members, sponsors and guests.  We were then treated to an introduction to the Gallery by Whitechapel Director Iwona Blazwick OBE.  Later we were very fortunate to experience two entertaining and thought provoking presentations on architecture, art and interacting with either (or both) by two Gallery Trustees, Farshid Moussavi and Alice Rawsthorn.  Delicious food and wine were consumed and everyone who came professed to have had a ‘swell time’."
