The winning entries, which can be viewed on Flickr, were: Salius Patumsis, Untitled-6; Sikario, Reunion; Edlyon, Two Friends Two Sisters; Paul Louis Archer, Portrait and Millyvp, The Vigus Family and its Branches.
To celebrate the exhibition Thomas Struth: Photographs 1978-2010, the Whitechapel Gallery invited submissions of family photographs, inspired by the work of Thomas Struth.
Five winners were picked on Wednesday 31 August to receive a Whitechapel Gallery membership, which includes free entry to Thomas Struth, invitations to exhibition Previews, 50% off events and further discounts on limited editions, books and in the cafe and Whitechapel Gallery Dining Room.
