We have an Assistant Curator opportunity in our Exhibitions Team to cover a Sabbatical Leave for 12 months. You will work with a small and busy team on the realisation of projects with artists, lenders and arts institutions. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of exhibitions and commissions, including the organisation of transport and insurance, registrarial duties, and the production of catalogues.
With a minimum of three years’ experience in contemporary art institutions you will have the ability to work on the delivery of several projects concurrently, including modern and contemporary exhibitions, commissions and displays from UK and international collections.
As a member of the exhibitions team, you will contribute ideas to the Gallery’s programme, be essential to the department’s collegiate work environment and liaise with other internal departments and with the professional art world. More than anything, you will be a dedicated, enthusiastic professional with demonstrable knowledge of modern and contemporary art who is looking forward to working together in one of the most dynamic art environments in Europe.
