Audiences & Communications Officer (Fixed Term Contract)

We are looking for two Audiences & Communications Officers with at least two years of proven campaign experience combined with strong editing, copywriting, and content generation skills. This is an exciting time to join Whitechapel Gallery and an opportunity to play a key role in role in raising the profile of the Gallery and engaging new audiences.

This role reports to the Director of Audiences & Communications, and works closely with a Design & Production Manager, PR and Marketing Agencies, freelance filmmakers, and Whitechapel Gallery colleagues at all levels.


Conditions of work

  • Contract: Fixed Term, 12 months
  • Hours of work: 9.30am – 5.45pm, plus some occasional weekend and evening work, which will be compensated by time off in lieu
  • Starting salary: £24,000 per annum
