Patrons Officer

Whitechapel Gallery is looking for a Patrons Officer to work closely with our Patrons and Membership Manager to attract, engage and retain supporters. The role plays an integral part in the delivery of our busy Patrons Events Programme, as well as delivering key administrative and communication tasks to ensure that the Patrons scheme is delivered efficiently and professionally. The Patrons Officer will be a part of the Gallery’s Development team which oversees support from individuals, corporate supporters and trusts and foundations, and is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a busy fundraising office.

Conditions of work

  • Fixed term 18-month contract, with the possibility of progression to permanent employment
  • Hours of work: 3 days per week, 9.30am – 5.45pm, plus some occasional weekend and evening work, which will be compensated by time off in lieu
  • Starting salary: £23,000 pa (pro rata)
