More in Walking Tour: April 2018

Every month, Whitechapel Gallery maps out a Walking Tour with a selection of the latest First Thursdays exhibitions in east London. The accompanying map is available for free at the Whitechapel Gallery information desk or available to download below.

April’s Walking Tour begins at Whitechapel Gallery. Enter the immersive exhibition Mark Dion: Theatre of the Natural World (Book now). See the first overview of the Crossrail artworks in Art Capital: Art for the Elizabeth line (Free entry) and it’s your last chance to see the frisson of the togetherness by Leonor Antunes (Free entry).

Next stop, head to Leyden Gallery (7min) for Paper Works, a paper exclusive exhibition that explores the flexibility, simplicity and beauty of works on paper. Visit Curious Duke Gallery (23 min) for the opening of Blueprints, a solo exhibition by Craig Keenan. Then to Standpoint Gallery (13 min) for the opening of QUINTETTE, a new solo exhibition by Temsuyanger Longkumer, a London-based multimedia artist from Nagaland.
