Sculpture in the City is an urban sculpture park, set amongst the architectural landmarks in the City’s insurance district.

Tour: When Art Meets Architecture, David Rosenberg

Artist tour: Infrastructure & Superstructure, Amanda Lwin

Leadenhall Market, EC3V 1LT (in the alleyway underneath A Worldwide Web of Somewheres)

Artist Amanda Lwin will lead a walking tour of systems that underlie everyday life in the City of London, unearthing traces of mostly-unseen infrastructure, seeking out defunct systems that persist, and trying to pin down nonmaterial networks, all of which invisibly define our lives. Book here.

Artist Tour: Rule by the People, Shaun C Badham

Artist Shaun C Badham will offer each participant a digital print of a mind map he has created, investigating the links and connections between the works. As conversations take place, each participant is encouraged to add their own ideas and notes to their mind map, creating a new print in itself. Book here.

Tour: Outside the Gallery Walls, Stella Ioannou

Stella Ioannou co-director of Sculpture in the City will lead a tour of the 8th edition of Sculpture in the City that features works by internationally renowned artists. The tour will focus on her experience of developing this acclaimed project and working with nearly a hundred artists over the course of the past 8 years. Book here.

Artist Conversation: Beneath the Surface, Thomas J. Price with Tabish Khan

Join Thomas J. Price, the artist whose works function as psychological portraits of his imagined subjects. Their features are an amalgamation of sources: observed individuals, ‘types’ represented in the media, and ancient, classical and neo-classical sculptures. The artist will be in conversation with Tabish Khan. Book here.

The artist performance will include music and a reading in connection to Juliana Cerqueira Leite’s work Climb and considers digging, ambition and holes from a female perspective. Book here.

Artist Tour : Lloyd’s Building Blue, Jyll Bradley

For over 30 years the City has been both muse and subject for Jyll Bradley’s thinking about light and colour.  On this walk she takes us from day to night through gradations of blue. Book here.
