Research and Database Officer

Research and Database Officer

Are you a curious and intuitive professional with strong database and organisational skills looking for a role where you can use your skills to help to raise funds for some of the most exciting artistic projects happening today?

Working as part of the Development Team, the Research and Database Officer will have a passion for finding out more about people through creative, open-source research; providing accurate and appropriate information about potential donors, individuals, corporations and charitable foundations to the team, as well as developing how the information is recorded on our database. Working with front-facing fundraising colleagues, you will contribute to the identification and analysis of potential new donors to support the Gallery’s development strategy. You will also play an important role in providing due diligence research to ensure ethical acceptance of gifts, championing the database internally by streamlining and futureproofing our procedures. You will enjoy being highly organised and focused, with keen attention to detail, and well honed IT skills. Your ability to link data will be key, and you will show initiative to acquire, manage and pass on knowledge to support our fundraising. You will be joining our successful and creative team full of people who care deeply about writing the next chapter of artistic projects at the Whitechapel Gallery.
