Leading South-African artist William Kentridge is joined in conversation by Iwona Blazwick, Whitechapel Gallery Director and curator of the exhibition William Kentridge: Thick Time (21 September 2016 – 15 January 2017).

Framed by the major works in the Whitechapel Gallery survey, the artist discusses his enduring commitment to drawing and interest in the complexities of time, memory and philosophy.
