Written by, directed by and starring Barbara Loden, Wanda is one of the greatest American films of the 1970s. The film is introduced at the Whitechapel Gallery by multi-award winning actor Isabelle Huppert, for whom the film is a profound influence.
This event is part of the Isabelle Huppert Retrospective (1 May – 12 June 2016) organised by the Institut français on the occasion of Phaedra(s) at the Barbican Centre.
