Swiss artist Yannick Portmann invites you to a creative workshop, imagining possible futures for our city. Open to all, wacky ideas welcome!
The workshop is inspired by Portmann’s work, Hägendorf 2100 – Aldgate Edition, a site-specific public projection. The video installation translates a participatory utopian mural made with 250 children from a Swiss village into an urban context. It combines workshop documentation, drawings and text into a projected visual narrative in an East End public space.
Hägendorf 2100 – Aldgate Edition will be projected outside Toynbee Hall from 24 August – 6 September, from 8-11 pm.
This event is part of Backyard Biennial.
