This June 4, Whitechapel Gallery First Thursdays is hosting a very special Summer Party at the Gallery. DJ Jeffrey Hinton, Ace Hotel, provides the musical backdrop for an evening of art performance, tours and talks.
With live re-staging of British artist, Peter Liversidge’s, iconic art performance Notes on Protesting featuring adult choirs from across London. Guest curator, Mark Godfrey, Tate, leads a tour of American artist Christopher Williams’ The Production Line of Happiness and artist Klara Hobza discusses her work in the context of the current V-A-C display.
There will be a pop up pay bar in gallery 3 and the cafe/bar will be open late. When the party ends at Whitechapel Gallery, Ace Hotel, Shoreditch are launching their arty end up party taking place every First Thursday of the month.
