CROP

Motel Studios

5 May - 31 May

CROP is the first in a new series of photography exhibitions featuring new works from a diverse selection of photographic artists from around the world, aiming to demonstrate the range and breadth of contemporary photographic practice.

Artist included in the first exhibition are Dasha Pears, Kylli Spare, Alan Powdrill, John Wright and the London-based photographer and director duo Ilka & Franz, whose unmistakeable colourful aesthetic and humour blurs the lines between portraiture and still life.

The exhibition will be held in an new gallery space, a beautiful post-industrial Victorian brick arch underneath the East London railway line leading to Hoxton Overground Station.

The new gallery will be the first fully-focused space dedicated to exhibiting the best in contemporary and modern photography. Alongside the exhibition programme, the gallery will host events, talks, seminars, book launches and photography workshops.
