OLD IS THE NEW NEW

Velorose

6 February - 20 March

Inspired by the contemporary relevance of reuse and upcycling, quality over quantity – and design and craftsmanship over fast fashion – Velorose has unveiled its latest (re)collection of ‘oldies but goodies’, co-curated with Plinth and Early Bird Vintage.

Familiar tropes, forms and materials are revisited by a variety of artists including Kit Allsopp, Michael Craig Martin, Alice Freeman, Liam Leslie, Cornelia Parker, David Parsons, Bridget Riley, John Stezaker, Alison Wilding and Richard Wilson. These sit alongside one another, as well as vintage furniture and objets d’art – and almost all for sale.

Off the wall, on the wall, off the shelf, on the shelf: Velorose continues its series of living-on-the-pink-ceiling gallery-shop-floor shows for the new decade…
