10 July - 10 July
Join South African artist Sethembile Msezane for ‘Veiled Dreams’, a site-specific performance in the Barbican Conservatory.
Responding to the Barbican’s Conservatory, performers will be stationed across the Conservatory where their bodies will be in dialogue with the foliage and natural environment. The piece centres collective rest and a communal dream space between the different species and lifeforms that inhabit the space. Audiences will be serenaded by soft soundscapes to evoke a meditative and dreamlike state.
