Ceviche Old St Gallery is a new contemporary Peruvian art gallery showcasing the work of Peru’s best contemporary artists. Never before have so many Peruvian artists been in one place.
The aim of the the capital’s first contemporary Peruvian art gallery, is to present a new generation of Peruvian artists, many of which have never shown their works in London before, but some of which have presented works at The Saatchi Gallery, TATE Modern, Art Basel and ARCO among others.
Works by Cesar Cornejo, Miguel Aguirre, Fernando Bryce, Alice Wagner and Mariano Vivanco among others – create the launch collection, after which twice a year, selected artists will showcase their own solo shows.
To help navigate all the different works on display, Ceviche Old St Gallery has developed an innovative and interactive tool: the Ceviche App. The Ceviche App features sensors behind each work so when visitors are close by, all information about each work appears visually and audibly helping them to access all information immediately. As the visitor walks around the gallery, the artworks walk with them.
