The Royal Drawing School (formerly The Prince’s Drawing School) runs over 250 different full and part-time drawing courses each year for adults and children of all ages and abilities. Alongside its public courses the School offers an MA-level postgraduate programme in drawing, a fine art foundation course, fully-funded international artists’ residencies and The Drawing Clubs for 10-18 year-olds with an aptitude for drawing. The School operates studios in Shoreditch, Oxford Street, South Kensington and Trinity Buoy Wharf and also collaborates with a number of institutions including The National Gallery, The British Museum and the Royal Academy. All of the School’s courses are heavily subsidised, with a wide range of scholarships, bursaries and concessions making them accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstance.
The studios are an 8 minute walk from Shoreditch High Street overground station and 9 minutes from Old Street station.
