Duchamp & Sons collaborated with Christie Costello from bare minimum collective over a month-long period considering what a Duchamp & Sons archive could and should look like.

Through sessions with Christie and the archive team at Whitechapel Gallery, the group explored the established structures of archiving and how these might be critiqued and subverted through new approaches and artistic interventions. After grappling with ways they did and did not wish to be archived, the mini-project culminated in a presentation of materials for accession to the Whitechapel Gallery archive – which spoke to the importance of community, playfulness, and experimentation to the group.
