The Courtyard SEN School, Islington, worked with artist Sam Ayre to explore key questions in response to William Kentridge’s exhibition: What is the difference between a line and a mark? How many different types of lines can you make? What does it look like to mark time?
Students made large scale collaborative drawings using charcoal, chalk and graphite – embracing improvisation, chance and ‘mistake-making’.
