Free parking for Blue Badge holders is available at the top of Osborn Street in the pay and display booths for an unlimited period. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
There is a suitable space for taxi drop-off immediately outside of our building on Whitechapel High Street. Please note that there is a cycle lane that runs between the road and the pavement.

We’re unfortunately not able to provide audio described navigation around the gallery, but we are happy to arrange for a member of staff to support navigation if necessary. Please get in touch with us by phone or email access@whitechapelgallery.org to arrange this
Exhibition interpretation and artwork labels are available in large print format. You can find a relevant version of this in each gallery space, as well as from the access wall in the foyer.
When there are videos in an exhibition, we will always aim to have the videos captioned.
If this is not possible, transcripts will be prepared for the film content.
The transcripts will be available from the information desk, but if you would like a copy in advance, please contact the Information Desk in advance on 020 7522 7888 or email access@whitechapelgallery.org
Every season we run Audio Description tours and BSL-led tours of our main exhibition. We also host a regular Relaxed Hour session. All of our access events are free or pay-what-you-can, but require booking.
For up to date dates and times, please check out our Events page. You can also email access@whitechapelgallery.org to book or for more information.
We have a portable induction loop that can be used throughout the gallery spaces and for events. Unfortunately, we do not have an integrated induction loop throughout the gallery.
