Internationally renowned Iraqi-American artist Michael Rakowitz, whose debut UK survey is on display at Whitechapel Gallery until 25 August, , offers visitors to the Whitechapel Gallery Refectory a Baghdad Kiss. Consisting of Khubz, tahini, date palm, haloumi and mint, this special sandwich is available for one night only and coincides with the release of the artists’ recently published cookbook, A House With A Date Palm Will Never Starve (2019)
