The walking tour begins at the Whitechapel Gallery with A Century of the Artist’s studio 1920 – 2020. a 100-year survey of the studio through the work of artists and image-makers from around the world. The visit continues with tonight’s event Collective Moments: Muslim Sisterhood Takeover. The artist collective, working at the intersection between photography, fashion, art direction and publishing, will bring an evening of creativity and celebration with films, DJ sets and workshops Next is! Yamamoto Keiko Rochaix with I hear your breath in 4/4. The gallery will host an evening of performances by Shino Yanai, a multimedia artist interested in the relationships between sound and memory. The following destination is Peer for the exhibition by Vlatka Horvat, investigating the relationship between bodies, objects, the environment and nature through a series of works on paper, videos and a sculptural installation. From here, the tour heads to Cell Project Space, exhibiting a solo show of work by Peruvian artist Bryan Giuseppi Rodriguez Cambana. As part of the commissioning process, Rodriguez Cambana has worked in residence at the gallery for four months and reopens the exhibition space by responding to sites of migration. The last stop is The Residence Gallery to visit a group show spanning from moving-image to painting and sculptural works by Lulua Alyahya, Tom Hardwick-Allan and Ahaad Alamoudi.
