Discover the rich history of artisan trade and imports in Aldgate fed by the Thames from the Huguenot silk weavers to today with Archivist Pamela Sepúlveda and Artist Dor Duncan. Explore how Whitechapel Gallery and artists have engaged with local trades and social histories including artists Stephen Willats, Ian Berry, Marketa Luskacova, Nedko Solakov and the Banner Bright Exhibition.

Get special hands-on access to the fascinating Whitechapel Gallery archives and use what you find in a creative workshop.
