Appau Jnr Boakye-Yiadom transforms the grand atrium of the White Chapel Building with a sonic and sculptural installation of images of African-American Jazz dancer Clarence ‘Scoby’ Stroman performing the dance move ‘taking flight’. Integrated with the display is an improvised live musical composition created by performers using electronic devices and instruments .
