Past Event
Six hundred songs with a feminist agenda are collated in A Feminist Jukebox of People Trying to Change the World (2018) by artist Ruth Ewan, and available to play in the Victorian pub The Bell. Ewan also presents two newly commissioned ornate pub mirrors created by Artisan Artworks, a traditional sign writer based near Glasgow, which feature texts chosen by Ewan that channel the words of Sylvia Pankhurst and Mary Wollstonecraft. The mirrors are displayed at The Bell and the Golden Heart, where you can also find Ewan’s specially designed beer mats.
