To celebrate Cecilia Vicuña’s exhibition at Whitechapel, Alba Caffè has developed some special menu delights in tribute to the artist. From savoury offerings to sweet treats, inspired by the flavours of Chile and themes of the show, there will be plenty of food for thought after the show:

A quinoa grain bowl with roasted squash and tahini dressing.

The “Sabor a Mi” (taste of me) brownie, named after one of Cecilia’s publications. This beetroot and cherry brownie covered in dulce de leche and dried raspberries pays homage to Cecilia’s use of red throughout her practice and eco-feminist commitments.

A chilli hot chocolate, (Cecilia’s favourite) made in house using cayenne, cinnamon and ginger.

Every Thursday evening for Whitechapel Lates, Alba will be serving pisco sour – the classic South American cocktail, made with Chilean pisco, egg white, lime and sugar.
