Poppy Bowers is Assistant Curator at the Whitechapel Gallery, London. Previous exhibitions include Sarah Lucas: SITUATION Absolute Beach Man Rubble (2013); Giuseppe Penone: Spazio di Luce (2012); and Collection Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. She is currently working on the first UK survey of North American artist Richard Tuttle in collaboration with Tate Modern, opening at the Whitechapel Gallery on 14 October 2014.

Angela de la Cruz is an internationally acclaimed Spanish artist, living and working in London. Known for handling paintings as sculptural objects, rather than two-dimensional representations, she has exhibited internationally for over two decades including Camden Arts Centre, London, UK; Museo de Arte Contemporánea de Vigo, Vigo, Spain and Museum of Modern Art, Moscow, Russia. In 2010, she was awarded the prestigious Paul Hamlyn Award and was nominated for the Turner Prize.

Nicoletta Fiorucci

Nicoletta Fiorucci is Founder of the Fiorucci Art Trust, producing artist’s commissions, publications and residencies in London and abroad. She is a collector of contemporary art and supporter of museums and cultural organisations, including the Serpentine Galleries, Chisenhale Gallery, Kunsthalle Basel and NMNM Monaco. She is Founding Member of the Fashion Trust, London and Founding Benefactor of the Serpentine Galleries, London. In 2014, she has been Patron of the Marrakech Bienniale as well as Patron of the upcoming Kochi-Muziris Bienniale.

Daniel F. Herrmann is an Art Historian and Eisler Curator and Head of Curatorial Studies at the Whitechapel Gallery, London. Previous exhibitions include Hannah Höch (2014); The Max Mara Art Prize for Women: Laure Provost (2013); Gillian Wearing (2012), Josiah McElheny: The Past Was A Mirage I’d Left Far Behind (2012) and John Stezaker (2011). He is currently working on a major presentation of Max Mara Art Prize for Women recipient, Corin Sworn, opening at the Whitechapel Gallery in May 2015

Gallerist Jake Miller founded The Approach gallery in 1997 above a pub in Bethnal Green with the aim to offer solo exhibitions to artists at the start of their careers. Several of which have gained international success, including Alice Channer, John Stezaker and Gary Webb.
