Contemporary Art Society: Nothing Beautiful Unless Useful

From the Pre-Raphaelites and L.S. Lowry, to exquisite Victorian glassware and Pilkington’s Lancastrian pots, Nothing Beautiful Unless Useful celebrates works in public collections across the North West of England in the first in a series of displays in collaboration with the Contemporary Art Society.

Supporting Artists: Acme’s First Decade 1972-1982

Joy Gregory with Whitechapel Gallery has won the Freelands Award 2023. This award enables organisations to present an exhibition by a mid-career female-identifying artist who may not yet have received the acclaim or public recognition that her work deserves.
