A free drop-in activity ‘What Is Poetry To You?’, taking place 12-4pm in the Common Rooms. All ages welcome! Inspired by Cecilia Vicuña’s artistic practice and her exploration of nature, communication and memory, this multisensory workshop invites participants to discover poetry beyond the written word. Drawing inspiration from Vicuña’s Quipu and her 1980 film, we will explore how poetry can express ideas, preserve memories and connect people through words, images, and natural materials. Through creative activities such as leaf rubbing, mobile making and contributing to a collective poetry wall, participants will experiment with different forms of expression and discover new ways to connect poetry with the natural world.
Please book ahead to reserve a space.
